Situated at the heart of every Muslim community around the world, mosques are central to life as a Muslim. Indeed, the first act of Prophet Muhammad (PBUH) upon his arrival in Medina was to build a mosque. Brothers and sisters, it is our obligation to build a mosque where it is needed the most.
After 30 years on its current site, a new chapter was ushered in with the demolition of the previous building, making way for one of Frankfurt's largest purpose-built 37,500 sq. feet facilities, contemporary in style but with a clear Islamic influence. Completely self-funded by the community with no donations from abroad, the 1st phase completion took place in December 2021 with the occupation of the ground and 1st floors on one side, 1.5 million is required to complete the phase 2.

Phase 1
This Jamia Masjid Ghausia is located in the heart of Frankfurt which is one of the main cities in Germany. The reason why we started this project of mosque expansion was because of the congested space. Our Muslim community is growing every year Alhamdulillah. We have spread this project into two phases. The first phase consists of a Parkhouse in the basement, two halls including toilets for disabled people and an apartment for the Imam Masjid. All this is going to be built by utilising the free land we had from the Masjid.
Phase 2
Phase two also consists of two halls which will occupy the ground floor for men and the 1st floor for women. The basement will have a diverse area, consisting of a kitchen, a room to wash the bodies and also a place to do Wodu. The main toilets are also going to be built in the basement. The best addition to this building will be two minarets and a beautiful dome to elevate the Masjid's glamour.

Completion of phase 1
The phase one of Jamia Masjid Ghausia has been completed Allhamdulilah. Which constructs of 2 big halls and an apartment. One hall on the ground floor is for Men and another one on the 1st floor is for women. We have shifted and moved everything to this side of the building provisionally and demolished the actual mosque which was on the right side of this building which you can see in this picture below.

Sustainability, community welfare, education, enterprise and maintenance efficiencies are key features of the new design; with the aim of building a modern and visionary centre, serving all of Frankfurt. Help us to deliver our ambitious goals by getting in touch or making a donation - we need your support - however small or large to complete this landmark project, God willing. Inshallah.
